AVISTRA Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AVISTRA, operated by UnrealEdge Academy Pvt Ltd, collects, uses, protects and manages personal information in connection with the AVISTRA platform, website and related services (collectively, the “Services”). About AVISTRA

AVISTRA provides educational and developmental services, including assessments, reports, counselling, coaching, learning programs and AI-assisted platform features. AVISTRA services are designed for use by individuals, parents and guardians, students, counsellors, franchise operators, schools and institutions.

A. Account information

Information you provide when you create or administer an account, such as name, email address, password, role (for example parent, guardian, student, counsellor, franchise operator, school administrator) and related contact details.

B. Parent and guardian information

Information provided by parents or guardians in connection with services for minors, such as name, relationship to the child, contact details and communications.

C. Student and child information

Information relating to students or children where a parent, guardian or institution provides it, such as name, age or date of birth, and educational context.

D. Profile information

Information you add to a profile, including preferences, goals, background details and other details you choose to share.

E. Assessment information

Information collected or entered during assessments, including responses, inputs and related assessment data.

F. NeuroPrint and report information

Information used to prepare or stored within NeuroPrint™-related and other assessment reports, including generated report content.

G. Appointment and counselling information

Information related to bookings, appointments, counselling sessions, consultations and related notes and communications.

H. Communications

Records of communications with AVISTRA, including emails, messages and enquiries.

I. AI interaction information

Information you provide when using AI-assisted features, including prompts, inputs and AI-generated summaries or recommendations.

J. Technical and device information

Information about the device and browser you use, including device type, operating system, IP address and similar technical details.

K. Usage information

Information about how you interact with the Services, such as pages visited, features used and similar usage activity.

How We Use Information

We use information collected through the Services to:

  • provide, operate and administer the Services, including delivering assessments, reports and learning programs;
  • generate and deliver assessment and NeuroPrint™-related reports;
  • manage accounts, profiles, appointments and counselling or consultation activities;
  • personalize and improve your experience of the Services;
  • maintain platform security, prevent misuse and enforce our terms;
  • support analytics and service improvement, using aggregated or anonymized information where possible;
  • communicate with you about the Services, including transactional and service-related messages;
  • operate AI-assisted features where applicable.

AI-Assisted Processing

The Services may include AI-assisted functionality that processes information to support analysis, summaries, recommendations or interactions. AI output is probabilistic and may contain errors. AI-generated output should not automatically be treated as professional, medical, psychological, psychiatric or legal advice.

AI functionality may be processed through third-party AI service providers, which may process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices. AVISTRA does not represent that third-party AI providers retain or delete data in any particular manner. Please review the terms of any AI provider before use if this is a concern to you.

Data Sharing

AVISTRA does not sell personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients where applicable and consistent with the Services:

  • counsellors and coaches who provide services through the AVISTRA ecosystem;
  • franchise operators authorized to provide AVISTRA services;
  • schools and institutions where services are provided through them;
  • technology and service providers that support the operation of the platform;
  • payment providers where payments are processed;
  • legal and regulatory authorities where required by applicable law.

Any such sharing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Children's and Minors' Information

Some AVISTRA services involve children and students. AVISTRA recognises the following roles in relation to a minor's data:

  • Child or student — the individual to whom the information relates;
  • Parent or guardian — the individual authorized to make decisions on behalf of the child;
  • Counsellor or coach — a service provider working with the child through the platform;
  • Franchise operator — an authorized provider of AVISTRA services;
  • School or institution — an organization that may facilitate services;
  • Platform administrator — AVISTRA personnel or authorized operators of the platform.

We do not claim that children independently provide legally sufficient consent. Where applicable law requires parental or guardian involvement, parents and guardians should provide the relevant information and authorization for the child's use of the Services and for the collection of the child's information.

Data Security

AVISTRA applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including authentication, role-based access controls, tenant isolation, database access controls and encryption in transit where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and AVISTRA cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including service delivery, contractual and service requirements, legitimate business requirements, security, dispute resolution, accounting and legal obligations, and applicable law. Retention schedules are reviewed periodically.

Data Deletion

If you wish to request the deletion of, or take other action in respect of, your information, you may contact grievance@avistra.in. Requests are subject to identity verification, applicable law, legal retention requirements, contractual obligations, security requirements and legitimate operational requirements.

Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights in respect of your personal information, including the right to access, correct, update or request the deletion of your information, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing. Cookies and Analytics

The Services may use a small number of essential preferences (such as theme and interface preferences) stored locally on your device for functionality. AVISTRA does not currently identify a specific third-party analytics provider in this policy. If analytics or cookie-management services are introduced, this policy will be updated.

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms, and AVISTRA encourages you to review them.

International Processing

The Services are operated using cloud-based infrastructure and service providers that may be located outside India. Accordingly, information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions other than India. This section will be updated if and when the specific processing locations are confirmed.

In the event of a security incident affecting personal information, AVISTRA will take reasonable steps to respond, contain and manage the incident and, where required by applicable law, notify affected individuals and regulators.
